begin

I'm finally starting to get ready to study abroad: plan tickets, travel arrangements, more painfully the money and exchange rate...

I've decided that I should start working on a blog and plans for Europe. While most of my trip is planned with assignments and visits, I want to make as many side trips as humanly possible. I'm hoping to make a list of places to visit, so add if you can think or know of any other places that are must sees.

I'm going to be based in Paris, but my trip will take me on the weekends to England, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Holland. I'm hoping to journey with Tres through Spain, Germany, and Austria at the end of the program (July 17 - ?).

I'm hoping that I'll be able to share my experiences and updates of what I'm up to, and keep in touch with all of yall back home. I will skype and gchat (hopefully I can figure out how to work a webcam by then!), and expect to talk to everyone at some point.

Shoot me an email if you have suggestions of where I should go! I'm starting to do my research, and would love an extra set of eyes (or two or three).
